Does this placement matter?

On page 1-22 it gives the example of "Paula is faster than Tai and slower than Sarah"
and the diagram is drawn
S ---- P ---- T
why would it not be T --- P --- S ?
Does this placement matter if logically the fastest person would be to the right?

Hi Kathleen,

Faster probably means finished first, which would mean further to the left if you're thinking of placement. Does that make sense? Either way may work, unless the game specifies, you just want to make sure you're consistent throughout the game and know which way you've set it up.
