Basic Summary and Purpose Drill - Passage #4

Hi! I have a question about this passage. I saw that in the summary of this passage, it had no mention of obesity law. In my version of the summary, I wrote that the second half of this paragraph focused mostly on a sector of nutritional law (obesity law) and traits specific to it. In essence, I just wanted extra clarification as to why obesity law was not mentioned anywhere in the basic summary. Thank you!

I think you're on the right track here, and the "Purpose" section of the answer key for this example does note "Introduce a new area of consideration--that of obesity law." And while that phrase isn't mentioned explicitly in the Basic Summary, it's covered implicitly by the idea of "some have proposed expanding the legislation regarding food labels and warnings," i.e. that legislative expansion would include the obesity law as outlined in the passage! Nice work!
