Im not sure what to think about it. Did they remove them because they are too easy? Too irrelevant?

They removed the games as part of a settlement of a lawsuit brought by visually impaired students.

Is the experimental portion still there? The test is now LR , RC and experimental or just LR & RC?

There will be three scored sections on the test: two sections of LR and one of RC. There will also be an experimental (unscored) section, and it could be either of those two types.

So, your test will have 4 total sections, and it will either be three LR and one RC, where one of the LR sections doesn't count, or else two LR and two RC, where one of the RC sections doesn't count. And those 4 sections can be in any order, so there's no way of telling which one is experimental and no way to know what's coming next.
