Hello,

This was an "easier" question that I probably should have gotten right, but I'm just struggling to see why (E) is incorrect. Of course, both passages here discuss paranormal phenomena, but it's a quote from passage B ("science has demonstrated that they [psychics] cannot [read people's minds]") that made me lean toward choosing (E), for the issue at hand here is, yes, nominally about the paranormal, but under it all is a deeper discussion about scientific knowledge and what can/cannot be explained by it.

Am I just reading too much into it, or is there a more explicit reason why (E) is incorrect?

Hey Yeltz,

Remember that for dual passages, the answer must be true for both. While both passages discuss science, passage B in particular does so only to attempt to disprove what passage A suggests - that paranormal phenomena exist.
