Should I submit now or in a couple weeks?

Hi all,

I took the November 2025 lsat. I am feeling decent about my performance. I am going to send out a few applications this cycle regardless of the score. As you know, the scores are not out yet. My application is complete, I just have to hit send. Should I submit now or wait till scores release?

I want to get it submitted as soon as possible, today even. Will my application get pushed to the "back of the line" till Novemeber scores come out? Will they be able to see that a new score is pending? My fear is that a CAS report comes out with my LSAT score from last year, while November score's is still pending.

Assuming that you want the law schools to consider your Nov. LSAT score, then I'd generally recommend waiting until you get your Nov. LSAT score. It's only nine days away, and then you will have more information about your situation.

Most law schools have a policy of holding off reviewing your application until they receive your Nov. LSAT score, so submitting it before then wouldn't really give you any advantage. However, if you submit your application now, since it is complete, some law schools may review your application before receiving your Nov. LSAT score, which could put you at a disadvantage if your old score is lower. Other schools will review your application or hold off depending on what you instruct them to do. This is why you should definitely check with each individual law school to determine what their policy is in this situation, which is very common.

The one other important point is that you should pay attention to any other important dates/deadlines that may be applicable to you, such as early decision deadlines and/or scholarship deadlines to make sure that you won't miss any of these if you decide to wait.
