While I don't want to speak for the other instructors, I expect it's because those premises aren't really needed to explain the question and the correct answer.
As Nikki points out in his earlier post (Post #5), the gap in the argument is between the claim that the show would be cancelled unless many people buy the advertised products, and the conclusion that anyone who wants to save the show should buy these products. The correct Answer C is the principle that bridges that gap.
