While the tone of the passage sort of implies E, it sounds too specific as an answer choice. My understanding of E stems from the author arguing against opponents of compulsory national service. She makes a compelling case for her argument and argue against those who find issues with compulsory service in the name of "individual rights." I'm struggling to find a line(s) that support the answer.
