I had a hard time with this question and I don't understand why B is the correct answer and not E?

Is E wrong because that's the viewpoint of courtroom judges and not the author, whose viewpoint is that opinionated viewpoints help make an impartial jury?

Thanks!

Hello ChicaRosa,

Sort of. Judges would, it seems, tend to want jurors who weren't aware of the facts in the case--although answer E confines things to "refrain[ing] from reading or viewing mass-media coverage of the case while the trial is in progress", as opposed to the broader prohibition of reading/viewing at any point before the end of the trial.

Hope this helps,
David
