Do you mind explaining why the answer is A? I selected B, but I guess that's wrong because traditional history does not dramatize. Likewise, I understand D is wrong because they aren't trying to arouse feelings either. C is incorrect because it would be more like Haraway's approach. In this case, why is A preferable over E?

For this question, we start by looking to the passage to see how they describe traditional history. The key ideas that I got from the passage were that traditional history focuses on a narrative or causal explanation. Answer choice (E) didn't have that narrative or causal element. Answer choice (E) is about recording notes, but not anything about an overall story. Answer choice (A) on the other hand uses causal language ("led to") which fits with the passage.
