Why is E wrong? Since the passage talks about how both blues and spirituals as having similar roots, and that it later discusses the origins of the African-American musical tradition of dualistic ideas of elation and sorrow, wouldn't E be relevant to discussing the origin of blues and spirituals from African-American culture? Or am I making unwarranted assumptions?
