I have been out of school for 12 years now and do not have access to academic related references. I am an Executive in the Social Services field and will be having my board chairman write one of my letters. I am having trouble determining who else I should ask for a letter. I am a member of my local Rotary Club and am thinking of having my president wrote me a letter (he also happens to be an alumni of my number one choice). Another option could be a fellow colleague whom I’ve worked with for over 10 years, or perhaps an old boy scout leader who I am still very much in contact with.

I listened to the latest mailbag where this was discussed, but am still unsure on which direction I want to go.

Powerscore did a LOR webinar and it is really extensive. You may find it helpful. https://vimeo.com/195500523
Ideally your letters would come from people who can speak to your ability to succeed in rigorous academic environments. Law school is tough and adcoms want to know you have the ability perform.
