Couldn't you say that African cultural influence partially affected the culture of ancient Greece?

Hi gnattar!

Sure, based on the first paragraph we can say that African culture influence partially affected the culture of Ancient Greece. But take another look at the specific wording of answer choice (C): "In what ways did African cultural influence affect the culture of ancient Greece?" Do we know the specific ways in which African cultural influence affected the culture of ancient Greece? Was it through music or dance or art? Philosophy or literature or rhetoric? Scientific understanding or fashion or social conventions? We have no idea! We might be able to say that, yes, Greek culture was somewhat influenced by African culture. But we can't answer in what ways Greek culture was affected by African culture.

Hope this helps!

Best,
Kelsey
