Hi,
I chose C. I see it in passage B but not passage A, which answers the question. The only time I see causal language is when it's mentioned in the first sentence, which I feel doesn't play a role in the argument of passage A. Does it still count somehow?

Thanks,

Hi Richie,
Thank you for your question.

Yes, it this case the causality plays a role in introduction of the argument albeit a minor one. Compare that to (A) mental disorder which is not mentioned at all in Passage A.

I hope this helps.

christine,

Sure!

Free choice comes up in the fourth sentence of passage A.

Causality comes up in the first sentence and third sentence of passage A (the discussion of "pulling strings" involves causation).

Self-delusion comes up in the fourth sentence of passage A.

Moral responsibility comes up in the first sentence of the second paragraph of passage A ("freely chosen immoral acts").
