I don't understand why C is correct. This one was hard though and none of the answers stuck out to me

Hi adricristofari,

Let's start by finding the conclusion. We always need to find the conclusion of an argument in order to justify that conclusion. Here our conclusion is at the end: Works of fiction would be unrealistic if authors didn't give attractive qualities to immoral characters. What would support that? We need to get all the way to "this work would be unrealistic." That means we need to bridge the gap between immoral characters having no attractive characteristics and unrealistic novels.

Answer choice (C) is the only one that provides that link. If we know that all bad people have some attractive qualities, stories that don't give them any attractive qualities would not reflect reality.

Hope that helps!
