Hi Saiffshaikhh!

We actually can diagram this to make it easier to understand! Let's start by breaking our stimulus down into an if-then statement, so our sufficient/necessary conditions become more clear.

If a professor is publicly censured by the head of the university, then they either must have revealed information that embarrassed the university, or been guilty of gross professional negligence. Edwards was publicly censured by the head of the university, and did not engage in gross professional negligence. Therefore, he must have revealed information embarrassing to the university.

PC = Publicly Censured by the Head of the University
RI = Revealed Information that was Embarrassing to the University
GN = Engaged in Gross Professional Negligence

PC --> RI or GN

Edwards: PC, and ~GN, therefore, RI

We have one sufficient condition, and two necessary conditions connected by an "or" statement. We know that the sufficient condition is true, and one of the two necessary conditions is not true. Therefore, the remaining necessary condition must be true. To have a simple format to compare against our Answer Choices, we can set up:
A --> B or C
A, and ~B, therefore, C.

Now, let's look at our Answer Choices:

A) Habitually Late or Absent --> Receive Official Notice
Ms. Jensen ~Receive Official Notice, therefore ~Habitually Late

B) Employee Discuss Client with Press --> Fired or Demoted
~Employee Discuss Client, therefore, ~Demoted

C) Promoted to Supervisor --> Shop Floor for 3 Years or Influential Sponsor
Daniels Promoted to Supervisor, and ~Shop Floor for Three Years, therefore, Influential Sponsor

D) Earn a Merit Salary Increase --> Bring New Clients or Develop Innovative Products
~Innovative Products, therefore, Bring New Clients

E) Awarded Letter of Commendation or Receive Bonus --> Recommended by Company Officer
Simon Recommended by Company Officer, and Receive Bonus, therefore ~Awarded Letter of Commendation

Answer Choice C matches our stimulus well! Recall:
A --> B or C
A, and ~B, therefore C

Answer Choice C states:
PS --> SF3 or IS
Daniels PS, and ~SF3, therefore, IS

I hope this helps!
