I understand why C is correct. But, I'm having trouble understand why E is incorrect?

Hi Legalistic,

Thanks for the question! In this Method problem, each portion of the answer choice has to be supported by information in the stimulus. So, let's look at (E):

  • "providing additional evidence..." — this isn't unreasonable given the first clause of Aiesha's reply.

    "...to undermine the claim that safer driving does not necessarily reduce the number of road accidents" — wait, she's undermining the claim that "marking road edges with reflecting posts will decrease the annual number of road accidents" italics added, not that safer driving won't reduce the number of road accidents.
So, like many wrong Method and Flaw answers, this one starts out well but then makes a key distinction that causes an issue.
