I was stuck between A and E. I answer choice A wrong because the anthropologist because the she didn't report a false result?

Hi Rosaline,

Yes, in (A) they reference "reporting results for an experiment that was not conducted" and "reporting a false result for an actual experiment," but neither of those things happened. Since she made no report at all, neither aspect of this answer applies.
