Hello,

With regard to the correct answer (B), I am having trouble seeing why the following is invalid:

X Y Z
L- N H N
S- H J H
T- K K M

Can you please clarify?

Much appreciated,
Pierre

Hi Pierre!

Your example is totally valid. But I believe the correct answer on this question is (C), not (B). It is absolutely possible for H to be the Secretary on Z as answer choice (B) says.

Answer choice (C) is the correct answer because, if K is the Treasurer of exactly two committees, but cannot be assigned to Z, then K must be the Treasurer of both X and Y.

Hope that clears things up!
