hi
I am getting confused about the definition of a sufficient condition.

If the stimulus states that

If MFP --> Airport will be built

Why are we saying that it is sufficient but not really? If there is another condition that could have supported the airport being build, shouldn't they have said that in the stimulus?

For example:
If MFP or Rich Developer --> Airport will be built

Otherwise I can come up with hundreds of reasons why the airport will not be built.
Thanks for your help!

queenbee,

We are saying MFP is sufficient. It's not necessary, though, which is the entire problem with a Mistaken Reversal.
