Just wanted to respond to myself:
It seems like some of these questions have multiple flaws and both the more obvious flaw and the lesson obvious one was reflected in the correct answer. Premise 2 for the correct answer also didn't specify the subset of companies that run lawn-care services but kept it more general.
(E) Most snow-removal companies run lawn-care services during the summer. Also, most companies that run lawn-care services during the summer hire additional workers in the summer. Thus, most snow-removal companies hire additional workers in the summer.
