Complete Question Explanation
(The complete setup for this game can be found here: lsat/viewtopic.php?t=16424)

The correct answer choice is (C)

If F and L are assigned to supervise swimming, swimming is full, and thus O and K must be assigned to volleyball (remember, from the third rule they cannot be assigned to tennis). With K assigned to volleyball, from the fourth rule J must be assigned to tennis. The assignment of J to tennis forces N to be assigned to volleyball, and as volleyball now has the maximum of three counselors, G must be assigned to tennis:

Consequently, answer choice (C) is correct.

Can someone help me understand why answer choice C is correct? I eliminated B, D and E, but am unsure how to get to C and why A does not work. Thanks!

Hi AJH,

If F and L go to Swimming with H, that means that our fourth rule's sufficient is not satisfied. That also means Swimming is full. So looking at our second rule that means K and T have to go to Volleyball per our second rule. Per our third rule, J is forced into Tennis now as a result which makes Answer Choice (C) the MBT answer here.
