Hi,

On the December 2007 test, in logical reasoning, section 1, I was having trouble differentiating a few answers:

- For question 18, I'm not sure why B is right and not A.

I didn't see any test explanations online, so any help you can provide would be great!

Thanks,
Sarah

Hello,

The stimulus suggests that 3 years is sufficient for establishing a strong client base, but it does not say it is necessary. Therefore, people could establish a strong client base in fewer than 3 years, and be successful before 3 years. That's what B is saying.

A is essentially saying something the stimulus already suggests, rather than weakening the stimulus - after 3 years, people may not yet be successful, but all the stimulus says is that they can eventually be successful.
