The correct answer choice is (A).

Answer choice (B) can be eliminated since there are already 2 Tudor houses.

Answer choice (C) can be eliminated because having exactly two Tudor houses would leave just houses 5 and 8 as T. While house 1 could be S instead of T, if house 4 is R instead of T, then house 2 could only be S, which be a violation of the second rule since house 1 is already S. Literally, having exactly two Tudor houses does not leave enough options for the remaining open spaces.

Answer choices (D) and (E) can be eliminated since there can only be 3 Ranch houses maximum. House 3 is already an R, and house 7 can easily be an R as well. Between houses 2 and 4, a maximum of one can be R (remembered the first rule!), and so the maximum number of ranch houses is 3.

Thus, answer choice (A) is correct.

Question 16..On the street, there could be exactly a) 1 ranch house...don't see how.
