My score dropped 5 points on my retake this October from a 167 to 162. Is there advice on if I should cancel my score? I know it can make law schools think I got much lower, but I also do not want them seeing this much of a score drop since that is not good too. I was very sick the week before I took my test which I think contributed to the score, but I don't think that is addendum worthy either. I just don't want this to ruin any chance I have at getting into a higher ranked school. Any thoughts would be much appreciated :)

Hi deanza,

The good news here is that law schools only care about your highest score - so neither one lower score nor one cancelation will be cause for concern.
With that said, I'd advise to go ahead and cancel your score. Score cancelations are common nowadays, especially with the option of score preview, so schools won't be concerned about one canceled score. Thanks!

If you feel that your score is too low compared to your plan and reduces your chances, then I think you should boldly cancel that test and retake it with another test to improve your score.
