I was trying to score one of my practice tests and was wondering how the scoring works including the experimental section. Is it disregarded and the raw score is just the 3 sections? But then the raw score won't add up to 100 , I am just very confused

Hi Kailey!

Thanks for the post! First, if you're referring to the tests you took in your PowerScore Online Student Center, please note that those are automatically scored for you, so the good news here is you don't have to worry about self-scoring. :)

But to answer your question, if you're taking the 3-section test with 1 experimental, then the 3 sections are scored and the experimental section is not scored. The 3 sections are scored just like a Flex exam. In this older Reddit comment, PowerScore VP Jon Denning explains how he developed PowerScore’s Flex Scoring system: https://www.reddit.com/r/LSAT/comments/ ... s/fo86fh2/.

I hope this helps! Please let us know if you have any additional questions! Thanks!
