As a general rule, would you say that, within an individual passage, the later questions tend to be more difficult than the earlier questions? For example, on a 7-question passage, would question 7 on average be more difficult than question 2?

Not necessarily! It jumps around, although often the first question is a predictable MP question, and thus somewhat easier overall.

Thanks DK! I feel like I've run across some late questions in passages with some tricky trappy answers lately (in tests in the 80s), but probably not a consistent enough pattern to make a broad generalization about the difficulty of later vs. earlier questions. I appreciate your insight.
