Dear Powerscore Expert,

If Headphones are in the 5 place, then space 1 is taken with either R or T, space 7 will have T if R is in space 1.

This leaves spaces 2, 3, 4, and 6. If H is space 5, then S has to be in space 2. Hence P must be in space 3. Two possible templates.

Template 1: R, S, P, _, H, _, T
Template 2: T, S, P, _, H, _, _

So space 4 and 6 could be either L or M in template 1 or L, M or R could be in space 4, 6, or 7 in template 2. Hence I get the answer that M could be sold earlier than L in template 1 and L and R in template 2. What am I doing wrong?

Pls help.

Hi RAB!

Don't forget that last rule--L must be earlier than H. This means that L must be in the 4th week (since it can't be in the 1st week and S and P are taking up weeks 2 & 3). So the templates you should end up with here are:

#1: R S P L H M T
#2: T S P L H M/R R/M

So M could be before T in template #1 and before R in template #2, but that's it. That leads us to R in answer choice (D).

Hope this helps!

Best,
Kelsey
