Hi, when I came across this question I had little time left, so I picked B and moved on quickly. Going back and reviewing I see why E is the correct choice and I would've chose it if I read all the answers, but can you explain exactly why B is 100% the wrong choice? Is it because the stimulus doesn't mention benefit, just perceptions?

Answer choice (B) is incorrect because the situation in the stimulus isn't about a policy directly benefiting any of the customers. Both the policy of charging credit card users more and the policy of raising the price and giving cash users a discount result in the exact same prices for both credit card users and cash users. So neither group is being benefitted in either scenario. It's only about their perception of the situation, rather than the actual outcome of the situation.
