hello, I am a bit confused about the correctness of answer B
it states that "the nature and placement of a dwellings interior features can be essential factors in determining the overall STRUCTURAL design of the dwelling" but isnt the article suggesting that its the other way around that the structural design should be determining the nature and placement of interior features when the article says: She designed the interior elements of a house together with the more permanent structures, as an integrated whole. Architecture for her was like work in lacquer: it could only be achieved from the inside out?

It's that language exactly that supports that answer, wdrosenfeld, because "from the inside out" means the interior (the contents and internal features) at least somewhat dictates the exterior (the overall structure). If the structure determined the placement of the interior features, that would be working from the outside in.
