Ok silly question. .. so in logical reasoning I'm wanting the new information huh? I kept trying to omit answers quickly because of new information and that never seems to yield me the results I want.

Carole,

You need to stay away from introducing new information in LR only when attacking the following question types:

Must Be True
Main Point
Method
Flaw
Parallel/Parallel Flaw
Point at Issue/Agreement
Cannot Be True

However, the solution to any Weaken, Strengthen or Justify question requires the introduction of new information. In fact, whenever the question stem asks you to assume that each answer choice is true ("which one of the following, if true..."), you'd need to consider the effect of some new piece of information on the conclusion.
