Question 6.

I chose answer B and am still not sure why A is correct.

I went

good show -> inspired musical performances (necessary)
good show -> sophisticated listeners
sophisticated listener -> understanding of musical roots

good show -> inspired musical performances -> sophisticated listener -> understanding of musical roots
good show -> understanding of musical roots (necessary)

Therefore, it is necessary to have an understanding of the musical roots in order for the show to be good.

This is my understanding. So I crossed out No and will not to make the answer People who understand their musical roots in the audience will be treated to a good show.

I still don't understand why this is not correct if I'm following the chain relationship.

Hi,

You made a Mistaken Reversal of the first conditional relationship. It should read:

Inspired Musical Performances :arrow: Good Show

(note the Sufficient Condition indicator "if" in the beginning of the first sentence).

Does that clear things up?

Thanks!
