Is finding the flaw in the argument is the same as finding what weakens an argument?

No! while they both trade on spotting errors and gaps, Weaken requires you to supply an answer that actively hurts the statements made by the author whereas Flaw asks you to describe the manner or nature of the author's flaw. They spring from the same source but go in different directions!

Thanks!
