I have a question about this:

"Have you ever been expelled, suspended, placed on probation or been the subject of or party to any disciplinary action (academic or otherwise) from any school, college, university or graduate/professional school that you have attended? Is such an action pending or expected to be brought against you?"

Does this include high school?

Hey T,

I've always taken it to include high school (which is crazy), but I also tell applicants that each school is different and that you must contact the school to make sure, and to record the details of the call. You don't want to report things you do not have to!

Thanks!

Hey Dave,

I found it to include high school as well. I'll give the Law School a call this coming week to confirm.

Side Note: I have seen on some Law School applications that they require any court and/or police records for affirmative answers under criminal history section, however in a certain Law School, there is no section regarding that only to answer affirmative/not and if yes then explanation per addendum, its more or less omitted. So, the question is do I do my due diligence and communicate that I have these documents and if they require them or want to look at them I will forward them accordingly in the way they feel is best.

Thanks

If they don't ask for them, you are under no obligation so supply them! If they ask afterward, you can supply them, but I'm not a fan of answering the unasked question :-D

As they say in depositions, answer just the question posed, not the extension of the question.
