Would this be considered an Error of Conditional Reasoning (Mistaken Reversal)?

Thanks in advance!

Yes in this instance, the author reversed the sufficient and necessary conditions. The author gives us the sufficient condition of losing a major product-liability suit, and the necessary condition of the stock falling. Then reverses them by reasoning that because the stocks fell, there was an unfavorable judgment was announced.

Keep up the good work.
