Hi,
I recently quit my job and moved to another city. I decided to hold off on looking for another job in the new city for the time being so that I could take about a month and a half off to study for the LSAT. Will admissions staff look negatively at this gap in my resume? Should I explain this gap of unemployment in my resume?

You'll be fine here, and won't need to explain it The gap is so small that it's not an issue, so you can go ahead with your plan with no worries.
