This is my second time taking the course and a few years ago we were told to diagram pure sequencing questions with ( < >) symbols. for example: A comes before D (A>D) My new book and course material says to use a solid line. (A----D). Why?

Good question! We changed that a few years ago in response to some of the things LSAC was doing, and we felt the lines worked better in terms of handing some of their rule configurations and combinations. If you are more comfortable doing it the old way, keep on doing that, though!
